OVERVIEW Build an awesome custom 8-wheeled machine by starting with our new Remote Locking Billet Machined 8X8 Axle DIY Conversion Kit. Each individual axle has a cable-operated locking lever that allows you to remotely control each axle independently if you wish (minimum 6-channel radio needed for individual locker operation). The included locking cables can be used separately or tied together to one aux. servo (not included) to trigger the lockers simultaneously. The axles are sized for 1/10 or 1/14-scale projects, and features alloy housings, alloy knuckles and caster blocks (front only), HD driveshafts, alloy hex hubs, and front steering linkage.
The 'front' steering axles are 170mm wide, the 'rear' straight axles are 155mm wide (for use with 1/14-scale dually rear wheels). drive axles are 4mm in diameter and use a standard 12mm touring-car type hex adaptor. Also:
Axle #1 (furthest forward) has steering knuckles and a single center output. Axle #2 (middle-front) has steering knuckles and dual offset input/output. Axle #3 (middle-rear) is a straight axle with dual offset input/output. Axle #4 (furthest rearward) is a straight axle and a center intput.
Finally, remote locking is cable actuated, cables are included. The 8X8 axle kits are available in black, gunmetal, or silver finishes. NOTE: This is a custom kit for DIY applications, it is not a direct bolt-on for any specific RC vehicle. vehicle.

All products require some prep out of the package - some components are assembled for packaging purposes only, so we strongly recommend that you check all metal-to-metal fasteners for tightness, check fitment and adjust if needed, and use liquid threadlock where applicable. Failure to do so is not a warranty-related incident.
Extra hardware, shims, or spacers may be required for some installations. Some parts may require permanent modification to the vehicle for fitment, and may eliminate certain OEM features. Some Integy-branded items may be only compatible with the vehicle's OEM parts but not with another Integy-branded item due to design language. For multiple-fitment items, some parts may not be used based on application.
