Warranty Policy

LIMITED WARRANTY

Integy Inc. has adopted a new warranty policy effective March 1, 2004 .

No limited warranty is provided by Integy Inc. unless your Integy Product was purchased from an authorized distributor or authorized reseller. Distributors may sell Products to resellers who then sell Products to end users.

Integy Inc. warrants the *PRODUCT against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for 30 days from the original date of purchase except if the product is intended to be installed on a vehicle.  If the product is to be installed on a vehicle, Integy Inc. warrants the product against defects in material and workmanship for 30 days before the part is installed.  This warranty does not cover crash damages, rollover incidents and incorrect installations.  The buyer is responsible to inspect the product before any installation process is started.  Once the part is installed or partially installed, either correctly or incorrectly, no limited warranty is provided by Integy Inc..

INTEGY INC., at its option, shall repair or replace the defective unit covered by this warranty.

Please retain the dated sales receipt as evidence of the date of purchase. You will need it for any warranty service.  In order to keep this warranty in effect, the product must have been handled and used as prescribed in the instructions or by the hobby shop retailer.  Certain products have extended warranty beyond the standard 30 days warranty.  To find out which products have warranty beyond the standard 30 days warranty, you can verify the information online at www.integy.com.

The warranty does not cover any damage due to accident, misuse, abuse, or negligence. There is no warranty against breakage on items like hex tips, diamond bits, foam tires, tool bits…etc.  There is no warranty against product breakage related to crash damages.  This warranty is valid only on certain products and does not cover our entire product line.  To find out additional details, you can contact us at www.integy.com.  In no event will Integy Inc. be liable to the customer or any third party for any damages in excess of the purchase price of the product.

Repair or replacement, as provided under this warranty, is your exclusive remedy. Integy Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages. Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose on this product are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty.

Some states/countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Some states/countries do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state and country to country.

*PRODUCT – Items covered under our warranty policy are limited to the following brands distributed by Integy Inc.: Matrix Motor, TOP, XIPP, Team Integy

The following are examples of items not covered under warranty:

Alloy Body Mounts for the T-Maxx are damaged when the truck flip over.  The black plastic clips came off, this is an issue especially when the truck’s body shell is not in place.  Warranty does not cover any damage caused by rollover incidents.

Alloy Purple Engine mount for the Savage is broken.  There is a major crack in the middle of the metal piece, a small rock probably got stuck between the metal pinion and spur gear.  Excessive amount of force is transfer through the engine crank case and damage the engine mount.  We also received the Savage engine mounting plate; the metal plate made by HPI also developed a crack near one of the engine mounting screw.  The part has scratches, purple anodizing on the mounting area has worn off.  Warranty does not cover any damage caused while the car/truck is running in extreme conditions.

7.2V 1500mAh shorted out or overcharged, shrink wrap melted. Warranty does not cover battery pack when all 6 six cells are damaged at the same time, this indicates an external current draw overloaded the cells.

Alloy bulkheads are severely abused, warranty does not cover abuse or normal wear and tear.

Alloy bulkheads are damaged from a crash, warranty does not cover any damage caused while the car/truck is running.

Screw breakage is also not covered under warranty. Inspect all the threaded holes and make sure they are free of debris before assembly. Use only small amount of thread-lock to prevent screws from backing out during operation.

Bulkhead breakages are possible with extremely firm suspension setup, warranty does not cover any damage caused while the car/truck is running in extreme conditions.
